We work closely with local councils and homeless outreach partners, who help us reach rough sleeping clients. We also run drop-in advice sessions in each borough, so that we can meet with our clients in-person in a safe and private space.
Having worked with rough sleepers for over 7 years, we understand the obstacles faced by rough sleepers in being able to regularise and retain their immigration status. We continue to advocate for rough sleepers and have long urged the government to consider how homelessness impacts on immigration applications. We want the government to recognise the link between inflexible immigration rules and homelessness, and work towards forward-thinking solutions.
